In Kerem Shalom, during a welfare visit, the "Aid to a Soldier" team encountered a distressing sight: a female soldier, utterly exhausted, emerged from a scorching hot command tent, with no cooling relief from the intense heat. Her distress, and the unbearable conditions she described, highlighted the critical and immediate need for action.

Given the clear distress and the urgency to alleviate the suffering of the soldiers in extreme heat conditions, the "Aid to a Soldier" organization acted without delay. Donations were immediately raised to purchase coolers, providing an initial solution to the severe heat conditions on the ground.
